Job Description

Sales activity:

  • Maintain the relationship with select intermediary clients and whenever possible increase AUM and cross-sell additional products and services
  • Opportunistically sell products and services to any prospective clients
  • Send literature/portfolio holdings/analysis or other information as requested by/agreed with clients
  • Cold calling of prospective clients as determined by the regional Head of Sales
  • Develop and maintain a client base with the regional Head of Sales
  • Planning sales trips and leading marketing-related events and conference in some regions as determined by the regional Head of Sales from time to time
  • Willingness to travel and competently conduct client events, including seminars and fund manager meetings

Client Service:

  • Delivery of Fund Literature
  • General fund info (min subscriptions, fund codes, dividend info etc)
  • Detailed specific fund info (exposure allocation, portfolio holdings, additional fund manager comments)
  • Dealing info (help complete app forms, Administrator contacts, status of a deal)
  • Terms queries (rebates, commission)
  • Check and deal with all emails and post for relevant sales person when they are out of the office
  • Book client meetings with relevant fund managers and sales person
  • Complete monthly, quarterly, ad hoc questionnaires
  • Coordinate and supervise RFP requests from existing or potential clients
  • Coordinate/instruct the share class registration process in selected countries
  • When other sales support team members are out of the office deal with client emails, literature requests, meeting and conference call bookings, fund and dealing queries.

Sales Support:

  • Work with Head of Sales Support to ensure a high quality of client support is provided to the business
  • Conduct initial review, prioritize and manages review of agreement by internal departments
  • Determines whether non-standard operational or information requirements exist and facilitates resolutions with internal operational teams and external administrators


  • Keep records updated with all new contacts and amendments, with activity updated weekly
  • Maintain opportunities’ records
  • Create new ad-hoc client lists when required
  • Log and update all client activity on CRM
  • Produce meaningful reports in order to make the sales team more productive

Required Profile

  • Between 3 and 5 year experience in an Asset Management Company
  • Solid Knowledge of asset classes and Investment Funds, as well as associated operational requirements
  • Knowledge of Intermediary market and framework (Banks, Financial Intermediaries, MFOs)
  • Good presentation skills including the ability to communicate investment messages to audiences with varying levels of existing investment knowledge
  • Proactive and takes responsibility and ownership of the role
  • Reliable, conscientious and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Customer service driven, with good sales skills
  • Fluent in French, Italian and English
