Our client is a large Multi Family Office looking for a:

SENIOR PORTFOLIO MANAGER

As a member of the Investment Committee, you will report to the CIO.

Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Construction and Portfolio Management of Discretionary Mandates in accordance with the company Investment Strategy, by using the approved lists of securities in cooperation with Asset Class analysts with the objective to align Portfolios to the respective Models
  • Contribution for all aspects related to Portfolio Construction of Special Mandates within the frame of the company’s Investment Policy including communication towards the Relationship Managers
  • Elaborate investment outlook along with the team and the CIO
  • Analysis and Selection of appropriate products (Equity, Options, Structured Products, Funds)
  • Provide support in your area of expertise to the Relationship Managers, ensuring that clients and business providers service needs are met (e.g. Advisory services, tailor made proposals, portfolio reviews, financial reporting, satisfying ad hoc requests)
  • Participate to the Investment Committee and to the Weekly meeting of the Team with views on economy, markets and ideas of Asset Allocation
  • Participate in weekly meetings with the Relationship Managers in order to inform them on their mandates and prepare clients visits
  • Visit clients along with Relationship Managers and provide performance reports and market outlook
  • Illustrate and promote the Portfolio Management expertise towards all shareholders
  • Monitor weekly the performances of all mandates in Geneva
  • Report weekly any discrepancies and/or significant deviation (allocation and performances) from Portfolio Models
  • Respect at any time the Risk & Compliance procedures and informs the CIO and Risk & Compliance Officer in case of deviation
  • Support the CIO on the organizational aspects related to day-to day activity of Portfolio Management’s Team members
  • Organize, in coordination with the CIO, the participation of external experts to complement the company’s own investment views
  • Respect all internal procedures and ethical codes of conduct

Profile:

  • Relevant experience as a Discretionary Portfolio Manager
  • Minimum 8 year experience in the financial markets
  • Experience in a small and dynamic environment
  • Experience with Private Clients – strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of Equity valuation, stock picking, funds selections, bond valuations, capital markets and interest rates, financial statement analysis, equity strategies, portfolio management, international economics
  • Knowledge of the Swiss Anti Money Laundering Act and Code of Conduct
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to be decisive in investment recommendations
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities
  • Ability to take calculated risks and stay innovative
  • Fluent in French and English
