Our client is an important Wealth Management firm, looking for a Forex Strategist.
Responsibilities include developing both tactical and strategic scenarios for foreign exchange rates across G10 currencies, leveraging insights and scenarios from the CIO.
Your role
- Analyze the foreign exchange market in conjunction with the global macroeconomic outlook.
- Provide currency recommendations to the investment committee, portfolio managers, and clients.
- Develop indicators and build econometric and quantitative models for currency allocation; update existing economic and financial models.
- Adapt analyses to the specific requirements of private banking and client needs, and synthesize findings for the CIO Office & Macro Research team to deliver value-added ideas for this asset class.
- Contribute to private banking publications and author articles.
- Participate in interviews and deliver presentations at conferences.
Your profile
- Master’s degree in Economics or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in economic or market analysis.
- Proficient in standard office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Internet).
- Comfortable working with economic and financial databases, as well as statistical software (E-Views, Matlab, Datastream, Bloomberg, Reuters, and VBA programming).
- Excellent written and spoken French, with strong command of English and outstanding communication skills (including public speaking).
- Swiss residency required.
