Our client is a leading Swiss Bank based in Geneva, looking for a Head of Portfolio Management.
Job Description:
- Define the vision and discretionary portfolio management strategy in line with the bank’s overall investment policy;
- Supervise the construction and evolution of discretionary mandates, risk profiles, and allocation models;
- Participate in investment committees and contribute to strategic decision-making;
- Drive asset allocation and oversee the implementation of investment recommendations;
- Monitor the performance and risk of discretionary portfolios;
- Ensure consistency and investment discipline across all managed portfolios;
- Integrate ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria into investment processes;
- Lead, develop, and motivate the discretionary portfolio management team;
- Foster collaboration with Advisory, Risk Management, Research, and Relationship Management teams;
- Represent the discretionary management function with key clients and within senior management committees;
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement advanced monitoring and reporting tools;
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, internal, and ethical standards in portfolio management;
- Establish and oversee control and reporting procedures;
- Anticipate and manage operational and market risks related to discretionary management;
- Contribute to innovation and the development of new investment solutions.
Required Profile:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent qualification; CFA or CAIA certification is a strong asset;
- Proven experience of at least 10 years in discretionary or multi-asset portfolio management, including several years in a leadership role;
- Solid expertise in financial markets, investment products, and multi-asset solutions;
- Excellent knowledge of banking and portfolio management regulations;
- Recognized leadership, team management, and complex project management skills;
- Strong client orientation, commercial acumen, and excellent communication skills in both French and English; German or Italian is a plus;
