LBO Analyst – Private Equity Analyst
Job description:
- Actively support the identification, evaluation, and execution of new investment opportunities, including funds and private equity co-investments.
- Conduct in-depth market research, analysis, and mapping of private equity and private credit markets, with a focus on Europe and North America.
- Prepare market insights, strategy materials and investment presentations to support investment decision making.
- Assist in all stages of the investment process, including due diligence, financial modeling, and investment documentation.
- Monitor portfolio performance, conduct risk analysis, and prepare performance reporting and any materials related thereto.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders on investment, monitoring activities, projects or research.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of tools, databases, and reporting processes.
- Participate in team discussions, fostering a culture of collaboration and constructive feedback.
Required Profile
- 3–6 years of experience in private equity/credit fund investments or within the broader financial services industry.
- Background in transaction services, investment banking, or similar fields is a strong asset. University degree from a leading institution; CFA designation is a plus.
- Proficiency in equity valuation, financial modelling, and analyzing companies. Familiarity with database tools such as Capital IQ is highly desirable.
- Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Team player with a high degree of commitment, maturity, and integrity. Positive attitude, adaptability, and a proactive, self-driven approach to managing tasks and time effectively.
- Excellent written and spoken English (primary working language)
