Our client is a Private Bank in Geneva, looking to strenghten its Active Advisory team.
As an Active Investment Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting High-Net-Worth (HNW) and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) clients with their investment needs and overall portfolio strategy.
Job Description
- Act as a trusted investment partner for a dedicated portfolio of HNW and UHNW clients, providing tailored and high-quality investment advice.
- Advise clients on portfolio construction, asset allocation, diversification, investment horizon and risk appetite, always acting in their best interests.
- Work closely with Relationship Managers to develop a comprehensive understanding of clients’ financial objectives, investment preferences and individual circumstances.
- Provide proactive and actionable investment recommendations across all major asset classes, including equities, fixed income, funds and structured products.
- Monitor financial markets and identify relevant investment opportunities, risks and themes to support clients’ portfolios.
- Participate in new client acquisition and pitching activities, contributing investment expertise and market insights to prospective client discussions.
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the investment advisory business by identifying opportunities to enhance client engagement and investment solutions.
- Contribute to the optimisation, digitalisation and automation of investment advisory processes, leveraging technology and data-driven solutions where relevant.
Required Profile
- 5–10 years of relevant experience as an Active Investment Advisor or in a comparable investment advisory role within a Private Bank.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets and investment products, with a genuine passion for investing and market developments.
- Solid understanding of portfolio construction, asset allocation, diversification and risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to provide client-centric investment advice and act with a strong sense of fiduciary responsibility and integrity.
- University degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
- CFA, CIIA or equivalent professional qualification is a strong asset, including candidates currently pursuing the qualification.
- Fluency in French (mother tongue or C2 level) and English is required.
- Knowledge of Python is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex investment topics clearly and effectively.
- Strong analytical skills, sound judgement and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative private banking environment.
